Midband Ethernet is a copper service, meaning traditional telephone lines are used, whilst Fibre is delivered via a fibre optic cable. With Midband, the further away you are from the telephone exchange, the slower your connection may be. Fibre Optic connections can transmit data over longer distances but at higher data rates.

  • Ethernet Over Copper. We offer the full range of Ethernet over Copper products from major suppliers across Australia.
  • Ethernet In The First Mile (EFM). Get EFM connections (where available) for high-speed Internet access in the same way ADSL and cable modems are being used today. Their low cost and high bandwidth make them extremely well suited for data transfer and additional services such as voice-over-IP, TV-over-IP and video-on-demand.
  • SHDSL – Unlike regular DSL technology, SHDSL is a high-speed ‘symmetric’ technology, which means it has equivalent upload and download speeds, giving your business’ data transfers increased speed and stability. This is particularly important for maintaining a minimum performance level that is not impacted by contention issues (multiple external users accessing the same line).
