Infinite Networks participates in the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) SMS Sender ID Register framework.
From 1 July 2026, the SMS Sender ID Register will help protect consumers from scam and spoofed SMS messages.
Messages sent using unregistered branded Sender IDs may be displayed as “Unverified” on recipient devices.
What customers need to do - If you use a branded SMS Sender ID, you must:
Provide your Sender ID details to us for registration
Ensure your Australian Business Register (ABR) details are accurate and up to date
Complete any verification steps required during the registration process
Incorrect or outdated ABR information may cause delays in registration.
You submit your branded Sender ID request to us
We submit the Sender ID registration on your behalf
The Sender ID is verified through the ACMA register
Once approved, your Sender ID can be used normally for SMS messaging
From 1 July 2026, SMS messages sent using unregistered Sender IDs may be marked as “Unverified”.
This may reduce customer trust in your messages
Impact message delivery performance and engagement.
