SMS Sender ID Register
Infinite Networks participates in the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) SMS Sender ID Register framework.
From 1 July 2026, the SMS Sender ID Register will help protect consumers from scam and spoofed SMS messages.
Messages sent using unregistered branded Sender IDs may be displayed as “Unverified” on recipient devices.
What customers need to do - If you use a branded SMS Sender ID, you must:

Provide your Sender ID details to us for registration

Ensure your Australian Business Register (ABR) details are accurate and up to date

Complete any verification steps required during the registration process

Incorrect or outdated ABR information may cause delays in registration.
How the process works

You submit your branded Sender ID request to us

We submit the Sender ID registration on your behalf

The Sender ID is verified through the ACMA register

Once approved, your Sender ID can be used normally for SMS messaging
What happens if you do not register
From 1 July 2026, SMS messages sent using unregistered Sender IDs may be marked as “Unverified”.
This may reduce customer trust in your messages
